Some updates

Updates get harder and harder to do as we get busier and busier. Since my last update, a lot has happened. The pictures above can tell the story better than I can. RMI was able to build a home (thanks to a sister church in the states) for a family of 6. This family has not had a stable home since hurricane Matthew is 2016. I was able to catch up with my friends and coworkers some more. I miss them all so much when I am away. One little cutie is now 6, I remember when she was born. She still calls me her 2nd Mama. I spent a few needed days away to reconnect with the Lord. These days were such a blessing to me. The ladies got back into playing cards, we would like to make this a more regular thing. Just a few missionary ladies catching up and doing something fun. I was able to visit a church with some former RMI missionaries that were visiting. This was the first place I ever hosted a team so it was fun to go back out there and visit with the people in the area. I added both Ethel (chicken) and Clara (kitten) to the family. Ethel hasn’t given me any eggs yet so things aren’t looking too bright for her. So far, Clara is exploring everything and I am told her meows are enough to keep the mice and rats away. This is a good thing considering most of them are bigger than she is. I was thankful to have communion with my church again. Every 1st Sunday is communion day. There is something about partaking with my Haitian brothers and sisters that really blesses me. We are about halfway through our Hope for Kidz photo campaign for fall. In both the fall and the spring, we visit each school. We take photos of all of the kids in the program, help with thank you letters, meet with the parents, and give any gifts that sponsors have sent. Please continue to pray for traveling mercies. Last night, I went to a concert to support some of my sweet friends. It was a huge spiritual concert, multiple groups participated. It is nice to see so many on fire for the Lord. The only other update I have is that HOPEFULLY Theo will be here soon. Please pray that everything goes as planned so that he can finally be home with me.
